Shaun has twelve years to reflect on an intense summer of love, sex and loyalty. But Daz's imminent death forces Shaun to go on a journey to confront his past. This is the story of a man full of intelligence and promise struggling to reclaim his life. Written by Sixteen Films
"Robert Carlyle said in an interview that he might decide to stop doing British films due to their lack of popularity. As he claimed his last two films " I know you know" & "Summer" are two films with his best emotional performance he has ever put on screen in his lifetime. And it is disappointing that there might be just a handful of people who has actually heard or seen it."
Now to all Robert Carlyle fans, so when you think of him you think of (Begbie from Trainspotting) or (Hitler from Rise of Evil). But i guarantee you that these two films ( "I know you know" & " Summer") will re imprint the memories you might have of his characters in films. Summer is a heart warming, moving, realistic film about life, friendship & how time passes by before you know it. And the only thing we are left with eventually are those memories of the best summer or moments in your life. It is a beautiful, beautiful film & it would be a loss to you if you dont watch it. Robert Carlyle is a Legend in the making.
